I live abroad, still can I apply?
Absolutely! You can work from anywhere in the world as long as you have a PC or laptop and a stable internet connection.
Do I have fixed working hours?
Each moderator fills in a wish list indicating which shifts he or she can work and which cannot. The weekly shift schedule is created on this basis.
What equipment do I need for the Job?
You need a laptop or a PC. Another requirement is a reliable internet connection as the job cannot be done without internet.
Do I have to pay any fees before I am hired?
No, absolutely not! We never have or ever will charge fees to the moderators on our team!
When will I receive my payment and do I need a bank account?
Payments are made within the first 10 business days of the month for the work done in the prior month. Payments can be made either via bank transfer or Paypal transfer.
Is the training absolutely neccessary and how it is carried out?
Training is mandatory before you may start to work and earn. However, it will only require about an hour of your time and will be conducted by one of our team leaders via skype or telephone.
Do I have to plan my holiday well in advance?
As a freelancer you can take a vacation whenever you want. But please let us know shortly before so that we can include your vacation in our shift plans.
Can I work in diferrent chats If I speak multiple languages?
Yes, that is indeed possible so long as you possess competent language skills for that project.
Do you need a copy of my Identity or passport?
Yes, as we need to both confirm your identity and that you are over 18 years old.
Is my personal information safe with you?
Yes, your information is safe with us and will not be shared for any other purpose. The data is only stored for our employee database.
Do I have to pass on my identity to customers?
No, you do not have to reveal your true identity to anyone. You remain completely anonymous to the customers.
Is there a notice period?
The contract can be cancelled by both parties with prior notice on the 15th of the month at the latest at the end of the month.
Will Chatbusters send me letters?
No, all correspondence will be done via email and Skype.
Will you call me often?
No, we would only ever contact you by phone in an extremely urgent scenario.
